 This Privacy Policy describes how Rocket Laundry, LLC. (“Rocket Laundry”), its affiliates, and subsidiaries handle information that may be collected or provided in connection with use of the Rocket Laundry platform (“Platform”), which includes but may not be limited to Rocket Laundry’s website, mobile applications, and network Platform, now available or developed in the future. This includes transactions, activities, consumer generated content, and any other data obtained as a consumer visits or uses the Rocket Laundry Platform. The consumer's consent to this Privacy Policy is established by use of Rocket Laundry’s Platform.  If the terms of the Privacy Policy and use of information are not acceptable then please do NOT use the Platform. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into Rocket Laundry’s Terms of Service by reference. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.
 

Data Collection
 

To operate Rocket Laundry’s Platform effectively and to provide consumers with information about services that might be of interest, personal information may be collected. Personal information is data that could be used to directly identify, contact, or locate a consumer by means other than use of the Platform. This may include, but is not limited to:

 

• full      name
• username
• postal      address
• phone      number
• email      address
• age/birth      date

By using the Platform, the consumer is authorizing Rocket Laundry to collect, analyze, and keep data related to the provision of the Platform.
 

Information in the following general categories is gathered when using the Platform.
 

Location Information:
 

Precise location data may be collected through Rocket Laundry’s app. This information may continue to be transmitted as long as the app is running, even in the background.  Geo-location may be used to provide and improve the services on the Platform.  This may include, but is not limited to:

• matching      Users
• providing      status updates to Users
• helping      confirm that a washer performed Services
• other      business purposes, including for legal purposes, such as to enforce      agreements and in the event of a proposed or actual merger, sale, or other      business asset transfer.

You may stop this information collection by uninstalling the app from your mobile device.
 

Transaction Information:
 

Transaction details related to the use of the Platform are collected. This may include, but is not limited to:

 

• information      about the service requested, including any requested date or time
• date      and time the service was provided
• amount      charged for service and any tips, bonuses, or gratuities
• communications      between consumers of the Platform
• ratings      and reviews of Washers and services
• other      related transaction details

Background Checks and ID Verification:
 

A consumer may need to give other personal information in order to register. This may include, but is not limited to:

• address
• phone      number or numbers
• date      of birth
• bank      account details

The information is collected to assess whether to permit a consumer to use the Platform and to comply with applicable law.
 

Customer Support:
 

Personal information may be collected through any or all communications with our customer support team.
 

Usage and Preference Information:
 

Information may be generated automatically and collected about:

 

• how      consumers and visitors interact with the Platform
• preferences      expressed
• settings      chosen
• other      preference and use information

When such information is associated with personal information, the combination will be treated as personal information.
 

Device Information:
 

Information about and from your device may be collected.  This may include, but is not limited to:

• the      hardware model
• the      manufacturing company
• operating      system and version
• software
• file      names and versions
• preferred      language
• unique      device identifiers
• advertising      identifiers
• serial      number
• device      motion information
• mobile      network information.

Log Information:
 

Information from server logs may be collected. This may include, but is not limited to:

• device      IP address
• access      dates and time
• app      features or pages viewed
• app      crashes or other system activity
• type      and version of browser
• third-party      site or service used before interacting with the Platform

Online Tracking/Do Not Track
 

When using the Platform, the Platform and third-party partners, such as ad networks, may use tracking technologies, such as tracking cookies, to collect information.  Such information includes how the Platform is used and what devices are used to access the Platform. Site partners may also collect information about your online activities on other websites or in other apps over time. When the third-party partners collect such information or provide features, they are governed by the privacy policies of the organizations providing the information or features, not Rocket Laundry. Consumers may be able to change browser, operating system, or app settings to block and/or delete these technologies in accessing the Platform. However, the functionality of Platform may be affected by these changes
 

Rocket Laundry provides consumers the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communications from the Platform and third-party partners.  The option to remove information from the database, to not receive future marketing communications, or to no longer receive services is available.
 

You may also be able to change your device, browser, or operating system settings to opt out of personalized advertising through apps. When you opt out of personalized advertising, you may continue to see general online advertising on the Platform and/or ads on other Internet websites, however.
 

Data Use and Sharing
 

The Platform may contain links to other websites, online services, or other third party providers. These sites are responsible for their own privacy practices and terms of service and are not regulated by Rocket Laundry.  Consumers should be aware when they leave or have left the Platform and read the privacy policies and terms of service of all websites that collect or may collect personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies strictly to information collected by Rocket Laundry.
 

A consumer's personal information will NOT be provided to third parties for their own marketing purposes without the consumer's consent.
 

A consumer's email address, phone number, and other personal information may be used to help increase operation efficiency, to contribute to the improvement of the Platform, or to contact a consumer in connection with transactions, services, and other activities on or through the Platform. This may include, but is not limited to:

 

• confirmation      emails
• account      verification text messages
• push      notification alerts
• text      messages
• important      news that could affect your relationship with Rocket Laundry
• for      identification and authentication
• fraud      prevention
• perform      background check
• to      contact you and others to investigate the potential unauthorized use of      your information
• to      communicate Service requests from you to other consumers
• to      contact you and others to suggest potential Customers for your Services.

Site may also use information, including personal information, to provide advertising on the Platform. Email, text, and other messages may be sent from Rocket Laundry with personalized offers, information about products and services, or to show online advertising on the Platform and on other websites and online services.
 

We may anonymize or aggregate data collected through the Platform and use it for any purpose.
 

To manage and run the Platform, including processing transactions and supporting consumer activities on the Platform, personal information may be shared with vendors, agents, and third-party services, such as Google Analytics Service.  They may provide support services such as email origination, receipt or support services, and consumer relationship management services. Rocket Laundry does not rent, sell, or share personal information about consumers with other people or nonaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes, without a consumer's permission.  Access to other data collected by the Platform may be allowed in order to enable the delivery of online advertising on the Platform or on other websites and online services, or to send a consumer information that may be useful or relevant.
 

Any third party with whom personal information is shared is authorized to use that personal information in accordance with Rocket Laundry’s contractual arrangements with such third parties and in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms of service. Rocket Laundry does not have control over these outside policies and terms. The consumer agrees that Rocket Laundry is not responsible or liable for any of their actions, acts, or omissions.  Consumers will need to instruct directly those entities contacting you regarding specific preferences for the use of personal information obtained by them.
 

When you agree to provide Services, certain information about you will be displayed to the Customer who requested the service. This information may include, but is not limited to:

 

• name
• photograph
• geo-location
• other      contact information
• ratings
• reviews

When a Service request is submitted from a Customer, certain information about you will be displayed to Washers. This may include, but is not limited to:

 

• first      name
• address
• other      contact information
• photograph
• rating
• reviews

The Platform may allow sharing of certain information, including personal information, with social networking websites, such as Facebook. Personal information is not shared with them unless you direct the Platform to do so. The use of the information will be governed by their privacy policies and terms of service. A consumer is encouraged to check their privacy policies and terms of service. It may also be possible to modify privacy settings on their websites and the consumer is encouraged to do so.
 

We may access, preserve, and disclose collected information, if we believe doing so is required or appropriate. This may include, but is not limited to:

 

• comply      with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or      subpoena
• respond      to your requests
• protect      your, our, or others' rights, property, or safety.

We may also disclose information as part of or to assist in setting a dispute among consumers.  Consumer information may be sold or transferred as part of certain transactions as permitted by law and/or contract. These transactions include involvement by Rocket Laundry in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of Company assets, or transition of service to another supplier. Rocket Laundry cannot control how such entities may use, preserve, or disclose such information in these cases. We may also disclose your personal information with your permission.
 

To preserve the integrity of our databases, standard procedure calls for us to retain information submitted by consumers for an indefinite length of time. Consumer agrees that such collected information may be stored for this indefinite length of time.
 

Individual Choice and Access
 

Rocket Laundry will provide a consumer with the ability to access and edit personal information. To update personal information, the consumer must sign in to the app.  The consumer may then view, update, and correct account information. To protect the integrity of sensitive data, there are certain pieces of information, such as your age, that cannot be altered or deleted by the consumer. Please contact Customer Service to find out how to change information not accessible through account login.
 

Rocket Laundry does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 as it is not directed at consumers under 18. If you are a parent and believe that your child under the age of 13 has used the Platform and provided personal identifiable information through the Platform, please contact Customer Service and we will work to delete that account on the Platform and any personal information collected from them.
 

Security Safeguards
 

A consumer's Profile is password-protected. Only the consumer and authorized employees have access to account information. In order to maintain this protection, DO NOT give your password to anyone. Rocket Laundry staff will never initiate a request for any personal account information, including your password.  Consumers should sign out of an account and close the browser window before someone else uses any public or shared computer or mobile device. This will help safeguard information entered on public terminals from disclosure to or access by any unauthorized parties. Rocket Laundry has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.
 

Consumer information may be transferred to and maintained on computer networks that are located outside of the state, province or other governmental jurisdiction where the consumer lives. The country or jurisdiction in which these computer networks are located may not have privacy laws with the same level of protection as the laws in the consumer's country or jurisdiction of residence. Rocket Laundry takes appropriate steps to ensure that a consumer's information is secure on its system. However, no data on or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. This means Rocket Laundry cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us. The consumers do so at his or her own risk. ROCKET LAUNDRY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY IN REGARDS TO ENSURING, GUARANTEEING, OR OTHERWISE OFFERING ANY DEFINITIVE PROMISE OF SECURITY IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OR USAGE INFORMATION WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. ROCKET LAUNDRY FURTHER DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY THAT MAY ARISE SHOULD ANY OTHER INDIVIDUALS OBTAIN THE INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT TO THE PLATFORM.
 

Effective Date
 

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected by or provided to Rocket Laundry on or after the Effective Date.  Rocket Laundry periodically reviews and makes changes to this Policy as Company updates and expands the Platform. When changes are made, an update the Effective Date shown above will be made. Rocket Laundry will treat and consider a consumer's continued use of the Platform following such changes as consent to the changes. If Rocket Laundry practices change regarding previously collected personal information in a way that would be significantly less restrictive than stated in the version of this Policy in effect at the time the information was collected, reasonable efforts to provide notice and obtain consent to any such uses as may be required by law will be made. However, Rocket Laundry will not be liable for any failure to do so. Consumers are encouraged to periodically review this policy.
